MEMBERSHIP

Girls Rural offers you cool, one-of-a-kind opportunities to help you find your inner strength to raise your voice and speak out all while having loads of fun and making new friends.

​

Regular membership is $12 per girl per year and entitles all girls participation in the regular programs of  Girls Rural. Our exciting programming includes many special activities, some of which may sometime require an additional fee.  Monthly meetings are held every 3rd Saturday and require a $5 monthly fee.  These small meeting dues help assist in the purchasing of supplies for crafts and other required items.

*Membership is currently open to girls ages 13-18 of all races, religious and ethnic backgrounds who live in rural Copiah, Claiborne and Jefferson counties.

Monetary Donations!

Monetary Donations are always needed and appreciated. Funds gained through donations are applied toward ongoing programming.

 

Provide names for a fund-raising solicitation.
Who are your altruistic friends and neighbors?

Organize a Girls Rural speaking engagement with a local group.

Professional groups, home & school, college groups, etc.

Suggest company contacts.
Know anyone we can approach for corporate funding?

Provide visibility for Girls Rural in your community.
Be a point person and organize a Girls Rural presentation or fundraiser.

Become a volunteer:
Volunteers are needed throughout the year on a variety of programs and projects. We are currently seeking volunteers with a wide range of backgrounds and skills, and we offer short-term and ongoing positions for volunteers to work, learn and grow alongside Girls Rural members and staff.
